Couples from vlogging scene on Youtube,  Bart Kwan and Geovanna Antoinette opened up their relation to their youtube viewers on a vlog .. and it was pretty interesting to watch.

Felt connected with this video from timeline 8:21
Brought tear to my eye.
I tried to see those qualities in someone for 10 yrs before finally realizing that if it ain’t there I won’t find it.. no matter how hard I look or try.

And this continuation video made me go “Wow” for both of them.
Watch what they feel about “tying the knot”,
when he says “I can trust my life in hands of Geo”,
about “girly girls” :) ,
when he says that she is someone who can get “Even for me” or “protect me” when shit happens,
and bit of light moments (but truths) with “height issues” :D

Hugs to ya both. Wish ya the best!
Don’t let anybody/anything get in between your relation. :)
I’m sure they won’t.. both of them have brains :D

The Heart Broken Biker – Vlog 007 – International Day of Differently Abled is Today!

Dec 3 is the “International Day of people with Disability” ….
The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

I’d like to term it as ‘International Day of Differently Abled’ … the word “differently abled” picked up from a friend co-member at an NGO in India.

This vlog is dedicated to all the differently abled people who try to do their own stuff and do not depend on others and do not feed on pity of anyone.
If you are one of them who stands up and faces nature’s challenge … then U ROCK!
You have my respect.

And I hope some of the so called “normal” people could learn from them to do their own stuff, have balls to live on their own rather than cheating, lying and manipulating people to progress in life. That is not life.. that is pathetic.

So folks, if you know some differently abled people who are good at heart, please share some love (not pity). One of the good things to do while you’re still on the planet :)

P.S:  Did anyone notice a Pigeon take-off ? .. was about a feet away from the bike.

On Hurricane Sandy Storm

Just another day, finished work like an hour ago and still dealing with sleep deprivation as usual.
Don’t ask how I got this sleep deprivation .. one of the gifts that come with a broken heart… as if that pain isn’t enough.

So generally, we’d have a powercut at 0600.. which I notice didn’t happen yesterday too and again today.
Should be happy thing right? Well guess what.. stupid ISP went down around that time now.
Now what use is a computer without internet?
Anyway, committed my code from desktop using a 3G data card… and took out the laptop to watch the sunrise while I listen to music (current track: Naa Jaane kyun – Strings) and write this blog post.

The sun hasn’t come up yet.. strange! .. and its very Windy (been this way all night.) .. there is no concentrate of Sun rays.. just deep blue sky. Didn’t get the camera along.. else could have been a pic in the blog.

Hurricane Sandy!

This reminds me of people hit in the Sandy hurricane storm that’s going on.. and about now in India a cyclone (named Nilam) is expected to hit the shores of AP and TN states.
In turn, that reminds me of visually challenged kids I was teaching a month/two ago (as part of SCF). Subject was “Disaster Management”.
It’s pretty difficult to make them understand how a flood/hurricane would look.. especially the ones that are deprived of eyesight by birth. :(

I wish strength and fast recovery to affected people in Sandy Hurricane and the ones that are going to be affected at Indian coasts.

Guess people living in cities where I am will never know how painful it is to be situations of natural disasters .. here people are happy with their disgusting lives that is filled with craving for more, shaping their homes with ill-gotten money, disrupting others’ lives and calling themselves big. Pathetic Living.

Types of Road Cross(ers)ing

A fellow facebook’er (read as: person who uses facebook) brought up the point of pedestrians causing inconvenience to flowing traffic (http://www.facebook.com/HYDTP/posts/198139546915792) and I started to categorize the types of pedestrians crossing the road in India.
Ended up with a fairly nice list, and hence this post :)

1. This is my Dad’s Road people.. they cross road like a walk in the park.. they dont even look at vehicles.. just straight or down at their feet and walking at their sweet own pace.

2. Cell phone people – they are on phone when they cross.. and believe me the phone will be on that side of the hand from where vehicles are arriving… so that blocks their own view.

‎3. Reverse people – Not to sound like a sexist, but I’ve noticed women doing this mostly. They look on opposite side of the incoming traffic… and “surprisingly” when they cross the road divider.. the head turns again to the other side making it opposite side again…. Kinda funny but dangerous

4. Human Chain – People who form a chain and cross the road in ANGLES. The problem here is the chain leader.. who like an idiot instead of showing his palm for STOP.. just walks dangerously close to moving vehicle without any notification that he’s going to start moving.

5. Running Champs – People who are standing on the side/ or on the road divider.. and “SUDDENLY” jump and run to the other side as if someone is giving free beer on the other side.

6. Signal followers – YEP.. this is right..honestly no one told them that the GREEN on traffic signal (unless its a human figure walk ) is for VEHICLES.
These people really start crossing the signal WHEN there is green given to the vehicles for the side that they are crossing.. I stare at them with utter disbelief and I ache to ask “Have you sold your common sense?”

7. Poor deciders: People who in middle of the crossing decide that they forgot something and they have to go back.. they just all of a sudden turn 180deg and start marching towards starting point.

8. Long walkers: People who dont cross in straight line.
They tend to cross the road in the steepest angle possible .. ie., being for more time ON the road and causing issue to moving traffic

I absolutely agree that we have infrastructure issues in India, lack of crossover bridges and zebra crossing, but if we can avoid being in one of the above mentioned categories then we will be of great help to the driving folks and ourselves too.

Let’s try to have a presence of mind while crossing the road; everything else can wait, but not life if we get ourselves tattooed on the road!
