ICICI website insecure now
Looks like they put in some updates on their login page code, which has pushed it over to the insecure side.
Who wants to login?
Really no time to investigate if this is serious or just fine.

Update from others: Looks like icicidirect also had a security flaw and someone here has had time to pester the ICICI guys to fix it … Nice work mate!

Blackberry facebook app error 2102
“Your login session has expired, please re-login to the Facebook application.(2102)”
“The Facebook server has returned an unknown error and is not able to fulfill your request (2102)”.
Have you faced any of the above while using your facebook app on blackberry? (True for 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9)
I have!
Tried solutions from Vodafone support and facebook support, asking me to delete and reinstall app, change my password etc.,
Allowing the device to login to facebook and lots of other solutions.
Here’s what actually works:
1. Delete the Application from Blackberry
2. Visit http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2254487659 , and click on “Block Application” <- Worry not
3. Install the app directly by searching either on Blackberry App World or my.blackberry.com
4. Don’t bother to ‘Like’ or click ‘Download Application’ button on http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2254487659 page again.

Getting your old profile back on Facebook
Alright, so facebook rolled out its new profile today, and like a curious cat I happened to get it activated only to find it not fitting my taste. The neatness, simplicity, clean UI is gone… facebook feels so cluttered now!
Unlike Orkut, facebook hasn’t provided any visible option of rolling back to old profile.
After a bit of thinking, tried deactivating my account ( option: “This is temporary. I’ll be back”) and logged back in.
Wolah, my old profile is back Update: Facebook has forced back the new profile on all accounts!!!

Nut heads on IRC
Few moments ago I tried logging in from mibbit to Freenode. I was presented with a neat little message “Nick already in use”!
As most of my online chaps on freenode know my nick is `krish`, I logged in with `realkrish` and politely pm’ed the current user of `krish` to change his nick. Here’s the conversation….
I could have just ghosted him without giving any notice, but didn’t want to abruptly end any important conversation that guy must have been into.
Notice the way he warns about reporting to cybercrime division; for what? Asking you to stop using my nick!
Now wonder why such nutheads dont understand when people approach them politely.
